FIRST DAY

So today was The First Day of college and for the first time in my life
I could wear floral prints to school. I waited at the train station for a friend,
and then we sat down for a few minutes while I had half an apple pie.
We tried to walk to class, lost our way (I believe that particular route is
haunted or cursed, for we've already lost our way there a few times before)
and then found our way again. We saw a gorgeous girl at the lift and
we saw her again in class and she spoke with an accent (and found that she was
a sophomore). There was not much to do in class today, except to talk
about ourselves and to find our future work partners. We have a project due
week 3, and I see myself pretty busy the next two weeks, with the project
and a business to run and possibly an exhibition to attend.
So The First Day of college was all right, and tomorrow
I am half-a-law student as I learn about the
stupid things humans do to one another in the business world.

And that was a prose-poem I wrote in 5 minutes.

  1. I'm imagining all sorts of things on what a university in Singapore would look like. I love visiting universities because I've never attended one. I go to a small, private institute that has less people than my high school. -/_\-

Ignore my ramblings. Good luck with your first semester!

  6. Best of luck on starting college! I recently went back to school (I'm in my 30's) and it was as fun as the first time I went (back when I was 18), although I do rememer the first time being a little scarier (mainly because of the unknown of it all). I think you'll do great though and have a lot of fun! I look forward to hearing more about your college experience! :)
