in the attic...
I've been working on my new poetry chapbook Definition and today I completed another poem. I haven't named it yet (as usual I'm not very good with giving titles to any of my works) but here is a little snippet of it (I wish my handwriting was half as pretty as this):
This is just one stanza and half a line of the entire poem and if you want to read more you'll have to wait until I've printed copies of the chapbook! Exciting! But anyway, my inspiration for this poem includes:

I love it! :) I think the full poem is going to be absolutely wonderful. I think memories often conjure up feelings that can only be attempted to be shared with words... and even then, only a part of it can really be expressed that way.
ReplyDeleteRemind me how much your chapbook is again? Nevermind I'll go see for myself. If I didn't know better, that snippet (actually hard to read for me, sorry haha) could've come straight out of the lyrics of one of Red's songs. They're this Christian rock band with the most stunning lyrics ever (and that should be a fact, not just my opinion). Forgive me if I've said that to you before and am parroting myself for not having anything better to say! I do not have a way with words like you do, ahaha.
